Canada Post has announced that they are resuming operations starting Tuesday, 17th December 2024. While this is good news, they have also stated that it will take time to stabilize their network and work through the backlog of mail and parcels caused by the strike.
Here are the key updates:
- Processing Delays: Canada Post will prioritize parcels trapped in their system since the strike began on 15th November and will process new shipments on a first-in, first-out basis.
- Delivery Delays: Customers should expect ongoing delays through the rest of December and into January 2025 as they stabilize operations.
We kindly ask for your continued patience during this period, as these delays are entirely beyond our control. Please rest assured that we are monitoring the situation closely and will provide any further updates as they become available.

Following our announcement yesterday regarding delays caused by the ongoing Canada Post strike, we have now received an update from our courier provider. They have informed us that alternative shipping methods will be attempted to navigate around the strike. However, due to the continued uncertainties surrounding delivery timelines, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend accepting new orders to Canada until further notice.
We believe this is the best course of action to prevent any further inconvenience to our Canadian customers during this challenging time.
For existing orders that have already been placed, please rest assured that we are working closely with our courier partners to get your shipments delivered as soon as possible.
